Kompot 2021 Veltlini I think the Zin byKompot 2021 is a light, easy drinking red wine made from a blend of Zweigeltrebe, Dornfelder, and Blauer Portugieser grapes. The grapes are grown in vineyards with loess subsoil, topped with varying levels of sand and humus, and planted in the 1990s with a south southwest exposure. Half of the grapes are pressed immediately as whole bunches (blanc de noir style), while the other half undergoes fermentation in open tanks with maceration on the skins
